CLARENT · HELP & INFORMATION

Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters. Clarent is designed to work without an account, advertising, tracking, or unnecessary collection of personal data.

Deutsch / English

Last updated: October 2026. The German version (Datenschutzerklärung) is legally binding; this English version is provided for information only.

Data Collection

Clarent does not collect, transmit, sell, or share your tasks, lists, or other personal content. No account or registration is required to use Clarent.

Data Storage

Tasks, lists, app preferences, and other content created in Clarent are stored locally on your device. Clarent does not operate a server that receives or stores your task data. Widgets access the same local data through an iOS App Group.

Notifications

Clarent uses local notifications to provide task reminders and optional features such as Daily Overview. Notification permissions are controlled by iOS and can be changed at any time in your device settings.

Widgets

Clarent provides Home Screen widgets, Lock Screen widgets and a control for Control Center or the Action Button. These features can display tasks or perform actions. The information required by Clarent’s widgets is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to Clarent servers.

Siri and Shortcuts

Clarent offers actions for Siri and the Shortcuts app. Voice commands are processed by Apple in accordance with Apple’s privacy policies. The actions themselves run locally on your device; Clarent does not transmit any data to its own servers in the process.

Analytics and Tracking

Clarent does not use third-party analytics services, advertising SDKs, or tracking technologies. Clarent does not track you across apps or websites. Apple may provide anonymized crash and usage statistics to the developer if you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iOS settings.

Third-Party Services

Clarent does not share your task data or personal content with third parties.

Data Export

Clarent allows you to export your data as a text file. Any information you choose to export is handled according to the destination or service you select when sharing the exported content.

Data Deletion

You can delete tasks, lists, and other locally stored data within Clarent. Because Clarent stores its data locally, deleting the app from your device may also permanently remove locally stored Clarent data.

Children’s Privacy

Clarent does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since Clarent does not require an account and does not operate a service that receives task data, no task content is intentionally collected from users of any age.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated if Clarent’s features or data practices change. Any changes will be reflected on this page, together with an updated revision date.
