No. Clarent does not require an account or registration. You can start using the app right away.

Yes. Clarent works completely offline. Your tasks and lists are available without an internet connection.

Your tasks, lists and preferences are stored locally on your device.

Yes. You can create custom lists and personalize them with different icons and colors.

Tap the + button, enter your task and optionally choose a list, due date, time or reminder.

Yes. Tap a task to edit its details.

Yes. Tasks can be moved between your custom lists.

Yes. Clarent supports manual ordering as well as different sorting and filtering options.

Overdue tasks remain visible in Today so they don’t get forgotten.

Yes. You can add reminders to tasks. Clarent uses local notifications on your iPhone to deliver them.

Say, for example, “Clarent task”, “Clarent <list name>” or “What’s due today in Clarent”. You can find all phrases in the app under Settings → Siri & Shortcuts. The first time, Siri may ask which app you mean. Choose Clarent.

Yes. Long-press the notification and tap ‘Done’. ‘Remind me in 1 hour’ brings it back later.

Choose “Focus Time” from the menu at the top right of the home screen, select a duration and start the timer. Swipe down to minimize it; tap the capsule at the top to bring it back. A notification arrives when the timer ends.

All tasks for the next 7 days from all lists, sorted by day. Overdue tasks appear at the top under Today.

Open the task, tap the date, then “Add Reminder”. Add up to three reminders per task, using a preset or a custom time.

Yes. Clarent includes interactive Home Screen widgets in multiple sizes.

Yes. Each widget can be configured to display a specific list.

Yes. Tasks can be completed or reopened directly from supported interactive widgets.

Yes. Clarent provides different widget styles and options for things like text size, spacing and list names.

Long-press the Home Screen, choose “Edit”, “Add Widget”, “Clarent”, then “Clarent Week” in large or, on iOS 27 or later, full-page size. Use “Edit Widget” to choose a specific list.

Make sure notifications are enabled for Clarent in your iPhone’s Settings and that the task has a reminder configured.

Daily Overview is an optional notification that gives you a quick summary of your tasks for the day.

If App Icon Badge is enabled, it represents tasks that are due today or overdue.

No. Clarent does not collect your tasks or lists and does not require an account.

No. Clarent does not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers.

No. Your task data is stored locally on your device.

Because your data is stored locally, deleting the app may also permanently remove your Clarent data from that device.

Yes. Clarent provides an option to export your task data as text.

Yes. You can delete your locally stored Clarent data from within the app.

There is no iCloud sync yet. Your data is normally included in your iPhone backup. A backup feature directly in the app is planned.

iOS controls when widgets refresh. If something appears outdated, open Clarent and check that your tasks are up to date.

Check that notifications are enabled for Clarent in iOS Settings and verify that the task has a reminder set.
